5.1 Booking Channels

You may request an appointment by any of the following methods:

Confirmation Required

Your booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation by phone, email, text, or other written communication from us.

5.2 Customer Responsibilities for Access

You agree to ensure that:

  • An adult (18 or older) is present at the Property for the duration of the visit unless we agree otherwise in writing.
  • We have safe and unobstructed access to the Property, including entry to basements, crawlspaces, mechanical rooms, roofs, and other relevant areas.
  • Valuables, breakables, and personal items are removed from the immediate work area to help prevent accidental damage.

5.2.1 Missed Appointments and Call-Out Fees

If we cannot access the Property at the scheduled time, or if no responsible adult is present, we may charge a missed-appointment or call-out fee, typically equivalent to our standard minimum service or diagnostic charge.

6. Estimates, Quotes, and Changes in Scope

6.1 Estimates vs. Fixed Quotes

Unless explicitly labeled a fixed quote, pricing communicated verbally or in writing should be considered an estimate based on visible and known conditions at the time. Hidden conditions (for example, behind walls, underground lines, under slabs, inside pipes) may require additional work and cost.

A fixed quote applies only to the specific work and conditions described. If conditions differ, or if additional issues are discovered, we may revise the quote with your approval before continuing.

6.2 Discovery of Additional Issues

Plumbing and hydronic systems often have hidden or pre-existing defects. If we discover issues beyond the original scope, we will:

  • Inform you of the issue as soon as reasonably practical.
  • Provide options and estimated costs for addressing the issue.
  • Obtain your approval (verbal or written) before performing additional billable work, except in emergencies where immediate action is required to prevent significant damage or safety risks.

6.3 Change Orders

Changes requested by the Customer (such as different fixtures, added locations, or design alterations) may require written or recorded approval and may affect scope, schedule, and price.

7. Emergency Services and "No Trip Charge" Guarantee

24/7 Emergency Plumbing Response

We offer 24/7 emergency response subject to technician availability and safety conditions. For urgent plumbing emergencies in Milwaukee, call us immediately.

Emergency: (414) 279-2050

7.1 Emergency Response

We offer 24/7 emergency response subject to technician availability and safety conditions. While we strive to respond promptly, response times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed, particularly during severe weather, major events, or high-demand periods.

7.2 No Trip Charge Guarantee

Where advertised, our "No Trip Charge Guarantee" means we do not add a separate trip fee within our standard Milwaukee service radius when you proceed with recommended paid work during that visit.

  • If you decline all recommended work after diagnosis, a diagnostic or minimum service charge may still apply.
  • If we cannot proceed due to lack of access, unsafe conditions, or other factors outside our control, a missed-appointment or minimum charge may apply.

8. Materials, Equipment, and Ownership

Unless otherwise stated in writing, we may supply Materials from trusted manufacturers and wholesalers. Title (ownership) to Materials passes to you only after full payment of all amounts due for the job, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

  • We may remove and retain replaced parts, fixtures, or equipment unless you specifically request to keep them at the time of service.
  • We do not warrant customer-supplied parts, fixtures, or equipment, and we are not responsible for failures, leaks, code violations, or performance issues caused by those items.

9. Workmanship and Warranties

9.1 Workmanship Warranty

Subject to these Terms and applicable law, we generally warrant our labour/workmanship for a limited period (for example, 1 year on most standard repair labour) starting from the date of completion, unless a different period is noted on your invoice or work order.

This workmanship warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, abuse, or misuse of systems or fixtures.
  • Failures due to pre-existing or underlying conditions, such as old or corroded piping, structural movement, or poor original installation.
  • Work that has been modified, altered, or repaired by others after our visit.
  • Temporary or emergency repairs where you declined a permanent solution we recommended in writing or verbally.

9.2 Manufacturer Warranties

Materials and equipment may be covered by manufacturer warranties, which are subject solely to the manufacturer's terms, registration requirements, and limitations. We do not control manufacturer policies but will use reasonable efforts to assist you in accessing available coverage.

10. Customer Responsibilities

In addition to obligations elsewhere in these Terms, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the issue, the Property, and access conditions.
  • Obtain any required consents or permissions from landlords, HOAs, building management, or co-owners.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, including clear pathways and compliance with basic health and safety practices.
  • Not direct our personnel to violate applicable building codes, plumbing codes, or safety standards.

Right to Refuse

If you insist on actions that are unsafe or contrary to law or code, we may refuse or cease work and charge for time and Materials already used.

11. Pricing, Invoicing, and Payment

11.1 Rates and Invoicing

Our pricing may be time-and-materials, flat-rate, or project-based, depending on the type of work and agreed structure. Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • Payment is due upon completion of Services or as specified on the invoice.
  • We may require a deposit for larger projects, special-order items, or remodel jobs before work begins.

  • Charge interest or late fees at a reasonable rate.
  • Suspend further work or future service calls.
  • Refer the account to collections or pursue legal remedies to recover amounts owed and reasonable associated costs.

Standard Payment Practices

Standard practices may include: payment due upon completion unless otherwise agreed; deposits on large projects or special-order items; and interest or fees for late payment, as permitted by law.

  • Liberty Home Guard

Third-Party Coverage Disclaimer

We are not responsible for any coverage determinations, delays, or denials made by such companies. You remain responsible for amounts not covered by these programs, including deductibles, upgrades, non-covered repairs, and out-of-scope work.
